Sheriff Deputies make traffic stop in Cortlandville with multiple infractions, find driver under the influence of drugs.
Deputies on Tuesday, April 12th say at 12:57 they made a traffic stop in Route 11 in the Town Cortlandville and identified the operator as, Kacy D. Ellerson, age 52,of Moravia, New York.
According to the release, he was operating an unregistered motor vehicle with improper plates, forged inspection sticker, improper registration sticker, and no insurance all while operating the motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
Deputies then determined he was driving while his ability was impaired by drugs.
Ellerson was arrested and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
He was issued appearance tickets and scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court on April 25th, 2022 at 2:30 PM for arraignment.
