Sheriff Announces Awardees During ‘23 Road Patrol Division Yearly Awards

Cortland County Sheriff Mark Helms and Undersheriff Chad Burhans recently held the 2023 Road Patrol Division Yearly Awards to recognize officers within the Sheriff’s Office. Officers were recognized in four awards: Not using sick time, Certificate of Honorable Service, Certificate of Recognition, and Certificate of Community Relations.

Additionally during the awards ceremony, Sheriff Helms recognized the veterans within the Road Patrol Division. He presented each one with a Veterans Pin, which may be worn with their uniform.
