Sheridan’s Jewelry Store To Close After 45 Years
Local News January 3, 2019After 45 years of business, the owners of Sheridan’s Jewelry store say they will officially close its doors for good later on this month.
The store ran for many years on Main Street in Cortland and recently moved to downtown Homer back in April. Its founder, local legend Chuck Sheridan, passed away in September of a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 74 and his family has been running the store since.
WXHC spoke with Chuck’s wife, Cheri, who said “It was a hard decision but we decided to close the store on a high note. We want to sincerely thank all of our loyal customers over the years.”
The store will now run an end-of-business sale until it closes on January 15.
