A complaint came into the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office back on March 15th of a registered sex offender residing at an address she was not registered at.
The complaint was against 42 year old Kimberly M. Clark of Cortland, who is a level 3 sex offender and had an address in the Town of Cortlandville. During the investigation conducted by officers, it was found she was residing at a different address in the Town of Freetown and failed to notify the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office of the address change.
A warrant was issued for Clarks arrest and on June 17th, she was located by officers from the City of Cortland Police Department and turned over to the Sheriff’s Office on a charge of Sex Offender Fail to Register, a Felony.
She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where she was later arraigned and released on her own recognizance. Clark is due back in Cortland City Court today.
