Seward Welcomes Cincinnatus Students To 4-H Capital Days In Albany

State Senator James Seward, a former member of 4-H, recently welcomed Cortland County 4-H students, Donovan Allis and Michaela Eichorst of Cincinnatus, to Albany as part of the 83rd annual 4-H Capital Days.

Allis and Eichorst and other 4-H students from Seward’s district met with the Senator at the Capitol at the conclusion of the annual 4-H conference.

Senator Seward discussed his role as a state senator as well as his 4-H background.

In December of 2013, Senator Seward was named a Distinguished 4-H Alumnus, the first documented New York honoree to be listed in the national directory.

4-H, a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension, brings students, volunteer leaders and staff from across the state to Albany each year to witness the state legislature in session, tour the Capitol and learn about history and state government.
