State Senator James Seward announced recommendations from the Senate Task Force on Workforce Development.
The suggestions came from forums held across the state.
Seward says New York needs to make certain a ready workforce is available to meet the needs of new or expanding businesses.
Seward’s role on the Task Force was to identify ways to help employees get ready and help them connect with employers.
Seward says expanding and making P-Tech Schools permanent, and increasing access to BOCES career and tech training programs for students and older adults will help.
