Several Projects Continue on Main Street in Cortland

It’s another week of multiple construction projects taking place on Main Street in the City of Cortland. Some projects are continuing while others have just begun. Crown City Rising reports beginning this week, the pocket park between the Community Restaurant and the former Pawn Shop location will be excavated.

The excavation work is required to allow for preparation work of a new storm drainage system in the area. Construction crews will also begin digging test pits on the east side of Main Street between Clinton Ave. and Court Street. The work will have temporary parking restrictions in place.

New traffic control and pedestrian crossing signal foundations are also continuing being installed at the intersections of Clinton Ave and Main Street and Court and Main Street.
