Several Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Bus on Route 13

Several people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash that occurred just after 9:30 on the morning of Tuesday, March 12th. The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says in total there were six vehicles involved, including a bus with passengers inside.

The crash shut down the northbound lane of Route 13 for about an hour as emergency personnel attended to patients. The Sheriff’s Office says patients from the crash were transported to either Guthrie Cortland Medical Center or Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Responding agencies to the scene included the Cortlandville Fire Department, TLC and Dryden Ambulance, Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Route 13 was fully open around 11:30 in the morning.
