With a grant from the USDA Local Foods Promotional Program the Seven Valleys Health Coalition has announced an update to the Cortland County Local Foods Maps.
Originally released in 2019 the map will now be up to date with additional information like farms, farm stands, U-pick patches, year-round stores, restaurants, bakeries, and other places of business that carry local foods.
The Seven Valleys Health Coalition is inviting those who want their business included to participate in a survey they have. You will be asked about business’ practices regarding locally grown and/or purchased foods.
The feedback from the survey will be used to determine your eligibility for getting listed on the updated map.
