On March 13th from 12:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon at the Homer Center for the Arts, the Seven Valleys Health Coalition (SVHC) will be hosting their 2024 Cortland Counts Community Forum.

The forum returns after a 3 year hiatus, SVHC says. The focus of this year’s forum will be on four priority areas: youth, health, housing, and economic development. SVHC says the forum will serve as an opportunity for local organizations to highlight the current state of the county and to work collectively on creating a happier and healthier community.

SVHC says the following will be topics presented during the forum.

  • Perinatal Health & The Doula Partnership
  • 2-1-1 Tompkins/Cortland
  • Opioid Task Force
  • Cortland County Youth Survey Data Overview
  • LGBTQ Center Services
  • Economic State of Cortland County
  • Rethinking Housing Issues in Cortland County discussion panel

Food and refreshments will be provided during the event thanks to this year’s sponsor of Guthrie Medical Center.

The event is free for all Cortland County members who are interested in the well-being of the county. The Seven Valleys Health Coalition asks you to RSVP via the link HERE. Those with questions are asked to contact the Health Coalition at 607-756-4198.
