Senator Webb’s Third Annual Menstrual Product Drive Collects Thousands of Essential Products for Distribution in 52nd Senate District
New York State Senator Lea Webb (SD-52), has deemed her third annual Menstrual Product Drive a success. Webb says the drive has collected thousands of essential menstrual products for those in need in Broome, Cortland, and Tompkins Counties.
“The success of this year’s drive speaks volumes about the generosity and compassion of our community,” said Senator Lea Webb. “By coming together to provide these essential products, we are taking a meaningful step toward breaking down barriers and ensuring that no one has to choose between their health and their basic needs. I’m proud to stand with local organizations and our neighbors to make this vision of equity a reality.”
Senator Webb says the response from both the community and local organizations demonstrates a shared commitment to promoting equity and access to vital resources. Donated products included pads, tampons, and wipes. These donations will be distributed through community organizations for individuals and families who may face financial barriers accessing basic necessities.
