State Senator Lea Webb has announced some details of the New York State Senate’s one-house budget proposal for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
Among other measures, the budget initiative would deliver funding to support roads and bridges as well as help municipalities with their operations. Additionally, there would be monetary aid given for items including economic development and small business, working families, higher education, and affordable housing.
In a statement, Senator Webb said the proposal includes significant community investment that supports the needs of New Yorkers especially in the most vulnerable areas.
