Senator Lea Webb Endorsed by New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF)

On Monday, Democratic Senator Lea Webb was endorsed by the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF).

The PEF represents over 53,000 New York State employees, including nurses, doctors, social workers, engineers, lawyers and more. This follows another recent endorsement by New York’s two largest healthcare unions, the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) and 1199 SEIU. 

“I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Public Employees Federation,” said Webb. “Our public employees are the backbone of our state and the critical public services they provide. I will continue to fight to ensure that they have fair and equitable wages, safe working conditions, and the benefits they, and all working families, deserve.”

Webb is running for reelection in New York’s 52nd District, which includes both Cortland and Tompkins County.
