A broken water main at the intersection of Tompkins Street and Main Street has forced the closure of Main Street between Court/West Court Street and Tompkins Street. Construction crews are currently working to repair the broken water main near the intersection.
Reports inform X101 News several properties have been affected with water disruption due to the break. Some businesses are reporting flooding in their buildings.
Traffic delays are expected for those traveling in the Downtown Cortland area.
Additionally, a road closure has also been announced on Grant Street between North Main and Greenbush for a gas main installation. Grant Street will be closed for the remainder of the work day.
