The search for a new superintendent of Cortland Enlarged City School District is underway.
Following Michael Hoose’s announcement last month that he’ll retire after the current school year, an application’s been posted to find his replacement with a February 28 deadline.
Board of Education members have brought in TST BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Matteson as a consultant in the process. Their goal is to have a new superintendent in place by July.
To ensure all stakeholders are kept involved, district officials will interview faculty and staff to gather their thoughts.
A community-wide survey will also be distributed.
All questions or comments can be referred to Dr. Matteson at 607-257-1551 or email@example.com.
