Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign Has Begun at Price Chopper

The Salvation Army has kicked off their annual Red Kettle holiday campaign at 130 Price Chopper and Market32 grocery stores, including Cortlandville. Both Price Chopper and the Salvation Army have teamed up for over 35 years during the fast approaching holiday season.

The Red Kettle Campaign last year at the grocery stores raised almost $580,000 in donations that went directly to the communities where the money was donated by members of the community. The campaign will run through Christmas Eve.

“The annual Red Kettle campaign has become integral to the holiday season – both in our stores and in our communities,” said Blaine Bringhurst, Market 32/Price Chopper president. “Being able to extend ourselves and welcome our community partners in support of friends and neighbors in need is a blessing.”

Volunteers for the Red Kettles are always welcome. You can learn more about the program by visiting the Salvation Army’s website, HERE.
