Salvation Army Holiday Kettle Donation Drive Begins Monday At Price Chopper

Beginning on Monday, November 13th and running through Christmas Eve, Price Chopper will be hosting the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle holiday campaign through all of its stores.

This will be the 35th year both the Salvation Army and Price Chopper have partnered together in the communities they serve. Last year’s campaign at the stores raised nearly $500,000 in donations that directly benefited those who are in need in the communities where the funds were collected.

“The annual Red Kettle campaign has become integral to the holiday season – both in our stores and in our communities,” said Blaine Bringhurst, Price Chopper/Market 32 president. “Being able to extend ourselves and welcome our community partners in support of friends and neighbors in need is a blessing.”

The Salvation Army annually helps more than 23 million Americans overcome poverty, addiction and economic hardships through a range of social services. By providing food for the hungry, emergency relief for disaster survivors, rehabilitation for those suffering from drug and alcohol abuse, and clothing and shelter for people in need.
