The Salvation Army Cortland Center will be conducting its annual Christmas Distribution this Thursday (December 20) from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

150 Cortland families made up of 298 children and 277 adults have appointments during this time to receive food baskets and gifts for their children. Families were provided with several opportunities to complete a distribution program eligibility application throughout October and November.

Items for the Christmas baskets were donated to the Center from the many kind-hearted Samaritans walking all around us today.

Red Kettle Bell ringers also continue to welcome customers through Christmas Eve over at P&C Fresh, Price Chopper, Tops and Walmart in Cortland.

All donations and funds raised in Cortland County stay in Cortland County, helping the Salvation Army Cortland Center provide services to local children, women and men in need.
