Route 90 Sales Kick-Off This Weekend

This weekend will be the final weekend for the month of July and with that, will mark the famous Route 90 sales from Homer to Montezuma. The sale takes place every year on the last full weekend of the month of July with 50 miles of garage and yard sales. Like last year, sales in some areas may begin as early as this Friday, but a majority of the sale will take place this Saturday and Sunday.

During the sales, you’ll be able to find all kinds of items, furniture, antiques and more.

Motorists can expect heavy traffic along Route 90 during the sale days. Homer Police Chief Pitman told X101 News the Southside of Cayuga Street in the Village of Homer will have no parking signs in place. He added he asks no one does any roadside shopping, which is viewing the sales from their vehicles as they drive along. There will also be some parking restrictions on side streets off of Cayuga Street in the village.
