The sunny weather forecasted for this week will help construction in Downtown Cortland move along quickly.
Late last week construction crews finished removing the trees along Main Street to allow for work to commence below the pavement. This week water main installation will continue at the intersection of Main Street and Court Street with lane closures expected.
Parking in the area near NBT Bank and the Marketplace Mall will be limited.
Construction crews will also continue their work replacing underground utility vaults on Main Street. Sidewalk closures are expected.
