More details about the annual Dairy Parade were revealed at last night’s Cortland Common Council meeting.
A tentative date is set for June 1. However, things will look a bit different this year.
“Our idea is a new concept that we’re calling a reverse parade,” said co-organizer Andrea Niggli, “Floats would be stationary along both sides of South Main and people can drive right through in their car to see them.”
Vehicles would approach the display from North Main Street, making their way down the south before exiting.
Right now, the event is scheduled to run from 6:30-7:30 pm. Last year’s was cancelled altogether due to COVID-19.
