From last Monday’s snow storm which left up to 18 inches of snow in some areas of Cortland County, some resident’s are still left without power.
NYSEG outages are clustered in the rural south and eastern parts of Cortland County. The utility reported a thousand of its 29-hundred customers in the county without power as of Wednesday night. Restoration of electricity for some could take another day.

National Grid has promised that its two-dozen customers in Cortland and Solon without power would have it restored last night. That promise has paid off as of today (April 21st) National Grid is reporting no outages currently in Cortland County.
