Update: The Village of Homer has announced that the planned water shut off for 6pm tonight will no longer be required as the water department has solved the issue with the leaking pipe without the needed turn off.
In order to fix a leak, the Village of Homer will be turning off the water beginning at 6pm today, October 17th at the corner of Cayuga St. and Cortland St.
The water will remain off until the leak has been repaired. The Village of Homer will announce when the work is completed on their Facebook page HERE.
