Reminder – Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic Coming Up

The Cortland County Health Department says a free rabies vaccination clinic will be taking place on Wednesday, May 21st. Appointments are required for the clinic; it will take place at the Cortland County Office Building Gymnasium from 6 to 8pm. Registration is mandatory and may be done online.

Residents who sign up will be required to bring proof of vaccination if their pet has been vaccinated in the past. If no proof of vaccination is provided, a 1-year certificate will be issued instead of a 3-year one; tags do not count as proof of vaccination. All animals will be required to be either leashed or caged.

Appointments are still available for the free rabies clinic. The Health Department notes your appointment will not be completed until you receive an email confirmation. Those with appointments are asked to not show up more than 5 minutes before their appointment time. You can register by clicking HERE.
