It may be Deja-vu when voters head to the polls in 2024 when it comes to electing New York’s Representative for Congressional District 19.
Republican incumbent Marc Molinaro could potentially face Democrat Josh Riley for the 2024 election. Riley is the only candidate so far challenging Molinaro on the Democratic ticket.
“It’s the values and the work ethic I learned growing up here that have guided my career–civil rights work for kids who needed healthcare; bringing Democrats and Republicans together to fight the opioid epidemic; taking on big corporations that were ripping off consumers, workers, small businesses.” Riley said in a statement released.
Riley lost the 2022 midterm election with a total of 141,509 votes, compared to Molinaro’s total of 146,004 votes.
