Registration For Summer Reading Program at Phillips Free Library in Homer Now Open

Registration at the Phillips Free Library for their annual Summer Reading Program is officially open. Registration may be done online or in person at the library during library hours. The library says those who register will receive additional information shortly afterwards, but to begin keeping track of how many pages you read or listen to once you’re registered.

The Summer Reading Program at the library is open for children, teens, and adults of any age. The Phillips Free Library says last year, over 200 people registered and they look to have even more registered this year.

If everyone who is registered reads a combined 280,000 pages or more, they will be able to see library staff compete against the Homer Police Department and possibly other groups as they run through an obstacle course during the Summer Reading Celebration on August 2nd at 6pm.
