Rally Held In Albany Demands The State “Correct The Tests”

Local News

A group of teachers, parents and lawmakers held a rally in Albany yesterday (April 8) calling on the State education system to address problems they’ve identified with standardized testing in New York.

NYS United Teachers has now officially launched its “Correct the Tests” campaign, which the union says will raise awareness of serious issues with the English Language Arts and math tests in grades 3-8.

The rally follows the failures reported statewide of the computerized tests last week.

Parents and educators can research ‘Correct the Tests’ for more information on this campaign.
