Tuesday’s doubleheader at Niagara was postponed, a day after the Crush had a Monday home game against Rome postponed due to rain.
Monday’s game against Rome will be moved to Saturday, June 15th . The Crush are already scheduled to host Rome on the 15th , and the games will now be played as a doubleheader with each game being seven innings.
The doubleheader at Niagara will be moved to June 17th.
This creates a brutal stretch for Cortland. The Crush will now play for 11 straight days between today (June 14th) and the 24th. The stretch includes three doubleheaders.
Cortland returns to action on tonight (June 13th) weather pending, when the Crush travel to play the Syracuse Spartans. The Crush will be back at Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex a day later, as the squad hosts the Sherrill Silversmiths at 6 pm.
