Jon Bon Jovi was filmed on Saturday (August 4th) in a Farmingdale, New York’s Stew Leonard’s grocery story with a 19-and-a-half pound lobster also named — you guessed it, “Bon Jovi.” The New Jersey rocker was visiting the Long Island market to promote the line of rose wine from his company Diving Into Hamptons Water, started with his 23-year-old son Jesse Bongiovi. According to TMZ, once word got out that Bon Jovi was on the premises, “people started showing up to the store in droves. . . so police had to be called for crowd control.” (TMZ)

Mick Fleetwood revealed that ousted Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is heading out on a solo trek. During his Saturday night (August 4th) appearance at the Morrison Hotel Gallery at L.A.’s Sunset Marquis Hotel, where a V.I.P. audience could see some of the famed drummer’s favorite shots of the rock era, Fleetwood let it slip that the revamped Fleetwood Mac will be criss-crossing the country the same time as Buckingham. What raises a few eyebrows is that recently, Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks said that the primary reason that Buckingham was tossed from the band was that he refused to tour until late-2019. Fleetwood spoke about the upcoming tour, stating, “Obviously this is a huge change with the advent of Lindsey Buckingham not being a part of Fleetwood Mac. We all wish him well and all the rest of it. In truthful language, we just weren’t happy. And I’ll leave it at that in terms of the dynamic. And he’s going out on the road more or less the same time I think — not in the same places, I hope (laughs).” (Billboard)

Bryan Adams was pop star Taylor Swift’s special guest on Saturday night (August 4th) when her tour hit Toronto’s Rogers Centre. The two performed Adams’ 1984 classic Top Five hit “Summer Of ’69,” which became the third single released from his chart-topping fourth studio album, Reckless. Adams already was in town, having played on Friday night (August 3rd) at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. (Billboard)
The new musical version of Pretty Woman featuring music by Bryan Adams and longtime collaborator Jim Vallance opens on August 16th at Broadway’s Nederlander Theatre.

Due to the overwhelming success of all the surviving classic members of Foreigner reuniting during the band’s recent shows, four more concerts including the classic lineup will take place later this year. posted: “Now for the first time ever, Foreigner presents Double Vision: Then And Now, four special celebration events featuring all current band members plus the original band members who helped to put the iconic group on the map more than 40 years ago. Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood, Ian McDonald, and Rick Wills join Mick Jones and the band to rock through some of the best-selling songs from the band’s albums, and bring back the memories that make it feel like the first time for both long-time fans and new generations.” (
