Organizers for the Corn Ducky Derby have been granted permission for their Special Event permit and Sound Device Permit during the Common Council meeting last night.
The Corn Ducky Derby will be held this Spring at Suggett Park on Saturday, May 6th from 10am to 2pm. Tickets are available for the 27th annual event for a donation of $5 per ticket.
A grand prize of $2500 will be given to the winner of the lucky duck that comes in first place. 2nd to 10th place winners will receive $100 each, 11th to 15th receive $50 each, and 16th to 20th receive $25 each.
All proceeds for the Corn Ducky Derby go to benefit Cortland Area Youth.
