Public Meeting For City of Cortland’s Comprehensive Plan Tonight at Elks Lodge

Tonight, June 24th, beginning at 6pm, the City of Cortland will be hosting a public meeting for their Crown City Rising Comprehensive Plan. The meeting will be until 8pm at the Cortland Elks Lodge at 9 Groton Ave in Downtown Cortland. Residents may stop in at anytime between 6 and 8pm. The city is updating its current comprehensive plan which was done back in 2012.

The comprehensive plan will provide the City of Cortland a “roadmap” for the future of the city and facilitates the day-to-day decisions of both local officials and residents within the city. The City of Cortland says tonight’s meeting will be casual and interactive with residents able to share their input on shaping the future of the city. Residents will be able to walk around to view and interact with various display boards and speak with members of the project team.

More information on tonight’s meeting and the overall Comprehensive Plan project/timeline may be found at CrownCityRising.com.
