Cortland Common Council finally returns to in-person meetings tomorrow night (July 20), with two important public hearings on the docket.
All spectators are required to be masked upon entry and remain so until departure.
Council and the mayor will do the same unless seated, at which time their face coverings will be removed to improve communication.
Residents in attendance have the opportunity to comment on:
- Rezoning a parcel on River Street (related to the proposed Byrne Dairy store);
- Permanently closing part of Alvena Avenue (ahead the new Guthrie Cortland Cancer treatment center).
Voting on these topics may take place at a future council meeting.
Tomorrow night’s begins at 7 pm in the council chambers located on the second floor of city hall, 25 Court Street.
