A public hearing date has been set regarding the dedication of a street to the Village of Homer. During Tuesday’s Board of Trustees meeting, a resolution was read and approved by Trustees to set up a public hearing date on the dedication of Dee Street to the Village of Homer.

The public hearing will take place on Tuesday, July 23rd at the Homer Town Hall at 6pm.

Dee Street was built as part of the Arbor Brook Flats housing development in north Homer. Dee Street is across from 141 North Main Street and just south of the entrance to Durkee Park in the Village of Homer.

The new housing development that will be located on Dee Street looks to begin construction before winter this year and when completed will feature 15 duplexes and 2 fourplexes. The housing project was originally given to the green light prior to the pandemic and regained approvals in May of this year.

More information on the development may be found at ArborBrookFlats.com.
