Two students in the Homer Central School District are being recognized for their
success on the PSAT exam.
Seniors Raymond Meng and Conor Powers both scored well enough on the PSAT’s to be
recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Meng was named a semifinalist in the competition, joining a pool that represents less than one percent of high school students and the highest-scoring entrants from each state
He will learn in April 2022 if he is a finalist in the competition.
Powers was named a Commended Student, still among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition.
