The Biden Administration announced that beginning this Saturday (January 15), private insurance companies will be required to cover the costs of up to 8 at-home COVID tests per month for their insured. President Joe Biden said they’ll either be provided for free by the insurance company or you can submit receipts for reimbursement.
The United States Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, Xavier Becerra said, “By requiring private health plans to cover people’s at-home tests, we are further expanding Americans’ ability to get tests for free when they need them.”
