Price Chopper along with Mark32 grocery stores have announced the start of their fundraising campaign to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) for the month of March. Customers will have an opportunity to round up their change during checkout with 100% of the proceeds going towards the MDA. The grocery chain will also match up to $10,000 in donations.

“Price Chopper/Market 32 has a decades-long relationship with MDA that began when our then president, Neil Golub, co-hosted the annual telethon. We are pleased to join with our customers and teammates to continue to fuel MDA’s research efforts and provision of care and assistance to those impacted by muscular dystrophy and other related diseases,”

said Pam Cerrone, Price Chopper/Market 32’s director of community relations.

MDA works towards saving and improving the lives of children and adults who are living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related life-threatening diseases. Funding from the MDA has led to ground breaking research for promising treatments by those who are affected by the disease, but also assists families finding the highest quality of care from doctors throughout the country.
