Price Chopper and Market 32 have recently announced that their specialty pharmacy has been re-accredited under URAC’s Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation 4.0 standards.
The URAC is an independent leader that promotes health care quality, setting high standards for clinical practice, consumer protections, performance measurements, operations infrastructure, and risk management.
“Receiving this URAC accreditation reinforces the commitment of our Specialty Pharmacy team to provide the highest quality of patient care,” said Alisha Roberts, Manager of Pharmacy Services and Business Development for Northeast Grocery’s shared services team.
Specialty Pharmacies are a state-licensed pharmacy that provides costly and complex medications for people who may have serious health conditions.
