Price Chopper & Market 32 Begin Fundraising Campaign With Freihofer’s Baking Company to Support Alzheimer’s Association

Now happening at all Price Chopper & Market 32 stores, money will be raised for the Alzheimer’s Association to end Alzheimer’s. The grocery store chain has also partnered again with Freihofer’s Baking Company. For the months of May and June, a 10 cent donation will be made to the Alzheimer’s Association for each purchase of a specific Freihofer product that is specially marked inside the stores.

“It’s estimated that 6.9 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s dementia,” said Pam Cerrone, Market 32 and Price Chopper’s director of community relations. “Funding is vital for research and clinical trials that are key to developing better treatment, prevention, and outcomes. Our partnership with Freihofer’s allows our customers to join us in providing hope to those with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.”

In 2024, the fundraising partnership raised $22,000 for the association. The Alzheimer’s Association works to help provide care and support for 6.9 million people who are living with Alzheimer’s Disease and is the largest nonprofit for Alzheimer’s research.
