Price Chopper Along With Market 32 Begin Campaign to Raise Money For Disabled American Veterans
Both Price Chopper and Market 32 grocery stores have announced they will begin to raise funds for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) beginning in November as a way to honor those who serve and have served. Throughout the month the grocery stores will give customers the opportunity to round up their change during checkout, 100% of the donations will go towards the DAV.
“Price Chopper/Market 32 is gratified to collaborate annually with teammates and customers alike to help veterans who have risked their own lives to protect our country and freedoms,”
said Pam Cerrone, Price Chopper/Market 32’s director of community relations.
The grocery stores will also donate $10,000 towards the DAV. The Disabled American Veterans offer cost-free support to over a million veterans of all generations and their families. The DAV has provided over 345,000 free rides to medical appointments for veterans and assisted with over 200,000 benefit claims last year alone.
