Update: Power has now been restored
Reports have come in of a tree branch on Groton Ave. bringing down power lines around 2 pm this afternoon.
City of Cortland Firefighters and National Grid crews are on the scene.
National Grid currently reports at least 1,937 of their customers are without power. They estimate power should be restored by 4 pm this afternoon. (July 13)
Multiple Traffic lights are out at the intersections of:
Route 222 and 281
Route 281 and Grand Union entrance
Groton Ave and Townly
Route 281 and McLean Rd.
Route 13 and McLean Rd.
Route 281 and Kinney Gulf
Remember, traffic lights become four-way stops.
