The Village of Homer DPW has announced James Street between South William and South Fulton Street will be closed today until 2:30pm for construction work.
The DPW says the temporary road closure is in part of the village’s current sidewalk project. The sidewalk work is part of the village’s Walkable Homer project, which is a project to replace broken sidewalks and ones that have been depleted. The Homer DPW looks to replace about 7,000 feet of sidewalk this season.
