Portion of Groton Ave. Closed During Excavation Work For New Road

Groton Ave. between Otter Creek Place and Graham Ave. will be closed entirely as work begins on the construction of the new roadway. The work requires crews to excavate the street, about 2 feet. Crown City Rising reports the roadway will be reopened at the end of each workday around 5pm.

Sidewalk work along Groton Ave. will continue on between Otter Creek and Graham Ave. Between Homer Ave. and Main Street, new lighting will continue to be installed. The latest updates may be found at CrownCityRising.com.
