Homer Police officers Wednesday morning provided an update to the threat reported Tuesday at Homer High School.
Police say that at about 11 am, someone wrote a threat on a door, spurring a search of the building.
Students and teachers were kept in their rooms for safety.
Both police and Superintendent of Schools Nancy Ruscio report the sweep turned up no additional threats and classes resumed.
Last night, Homer Police officers arrested a 17-year old boy on a felony charge of falsely reporting an incident.
The boy, who’s name was not released, was arraigned in Homer Town Court and released until his next court appearance.
We were unable to confirm whether or not the boy is or was a Homer student nor his motivation for the threat.
