The City of Ithaca Police Department and the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a missing person whose disappearance is considered to be suspicious in nature by law enforcement along with their safety.
Police are looking for 33 year old Thomas P. Rath of Ithaca, who was last seen in “the Jungle” area located behind Lowe’s in the City of Ithaca on or about May 17th.
Rath is described as 6’00” weighing around 145 pounds, last seen wearing black jeans, a black hooded shirt and carrying a blue bag. He also has numerous tattoos, one in particular is a black and pink heart located on his neck.
Officers searched “The Jungle” on May 27th, but were not able to locate him and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact Ithaca Police via their tip-line at 607-330-0000.
