The shooter from an incident yesterday morning in Groton has yet to be found.
A 30-year-old man was treated and released for non life-threatening injuries, after being shot outside a residence on East Cortland Street in the village at about 7:30 am.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored Mercedes flee southward down Williams Street.
Police searched a wide perimeter area throughout the day, which ultimately yielded no result.
