As more people begin to enjoy the warmer weather that means they may be packing the car and traveling to new places, but this time of year brings out car burglars.
Thieves are looking through vehicle windows for items that they could quickly steal and any car that is unlocked. The Homer Police Department is reminding residents to remember to keep your vehicle locked and not to leave any valuables inside.
Homer Police also asks to report any suspicious activity to the department.
