Police investigate stabbing at Ithaca restaurant

Authorities are investigating a stabbing that occurred just before midnight Wednesday (February 26) at the Agava Restaurant on Pine Tree Road in the Town of Ithaca.

Deputies with the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office say 26-year-old Daquan Graves was stabbed during an altercation with another man, during which 21-year-old bystander and Cornell student Nick Hudson was also stabbed when he stepped in to try and break up the fight.

Both men are currently in critical condition.

The suspect fled the scene, described as a black male around 5’8”- 5’10” in his late 20’s to early 30’s, last seen in a black leather jacket and a Chicago Bulls hat.
