A man from Harford made Cortland Police chase him down before his arrest early yesterday morning. Dillin Wilcox, who is 29, was wanted on charges from City and State Police, so when officers tried to arrest him after spotting him in the Cortland Taco Bell parking lot.
Officers say that’s when Wilcox peeled out, driving on lawns around several nearby businesses, headed to Blodgett Mills Road.
That’s where a Sheriff’s deputy and his stop-stick flattened two tires. Wilcox ran, but was found nearby, hiding in a ditch.
Wilcox was eventually turned over to State Police on their warrant.
