Police Arrest Syracuse Man on Drug Charges in Cortland

A Syracuse man was arrested for selling crack cocaine in Cortland last Wednesday.

The State Police Narcotics Enforcement Team and Cortland County Drug Task Force conducted a joint raid last week.

Last Wednesday, police took 34-year-old Edward Thomas of 110 Beal Street, Syracuse into custody on a sealed indictment.

Thomas was charged with 2 felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Thomas was also charged with a felony count of tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in Cortland back on November 13th.

Police say the stop was part of the investigation.
