Local syrup producer previews “49th and Holding” Maple Festival (audio)
April 5, 2021On Saturday’s Meet Cortland County:
Josh Ensign, co-owner of Ensign Family Maple Products, discussed the 49th and Holding CNY Maple Festival.
Last year, the event was cancelled due to the outbreak of covid-19 — and things aren’t completely back to normal yet.
A drive-thru format will slowly get the event back to where it once was, coming up this Saturday (April 10).
“We are planning to have a bigger celebration for the 50th once we are able,” said Ensign, who is also co-chair of the Maple Fest Committee.
